How does brand sponsoring drive additional sales?
Our publishers receive an additional incentive to create more placements for your products and/or produce content. In addition, our publishers can increase their spending on targeted marketing initiatives, thereby expanding their reach.
What benefits does my brand gain, aside from increased sales on Amazon?
Your brand gains greater visibility with high reach publishers, which can improve both brand perception and external rankings in search engines and AI tools outside of Amazon. Additionally, external sales have a positive impact on (organic) rankings on Amazon.
When is brand sponsoring not the right fit for your brand?
Our brand sponsoring program is not suitable for your brand if you intend to sell your products exclusively through your own online store and not through Amazon. Additionally, very short-term initiatives - such as product launches or clearance sales - or a constantly changing product lineup do not provide a solid foundation for a successful partnership.
At what stage of the customer journey are users reached?
Our publishers reach users at various touchpoints along the customer journey. In most cases, your products are presented during the early stages of the purchasing decision, with search terms such as “coffee maker comparison” or “best coffee maker” - which do not directly reference a specific brand - playing a key role.
What kinds of products perform well?
Brand sponsoring works best for products that have positive reviews and are priced attractively for a broad user base. Placements with our publishers are less suitable for short-term sales promotions and/or market launches.
Is there a guarantee of a #1 ranking in product comparisons?
In general, the decision regarding product selection or placement rests solely with our publishers. Sponsoring also has no influence on product ratings. However, the commission provides an incentive to publishers for preferred placements (e.g., in the form of recommendations labelled as ads). As a rule, publishers consider additional criteria such as conversion potential, existing reviews, and/or other product specifications when making these decisions.
What information is required for brand sponsoring?
To get started, we need a product list from you that includes ASINs and/or GTINs (EANs). The EAN, in particular, helps some publishers correctly identify your products. We also need separate attribution tracking links for each publisher. These can be set up at the product level, for individual product groups, or aggregated for all products. For Amazon attribution tracking, the parameters “maas” and “ref_” are required; please provide these to us along with the assigned campaign name. If you have any questions about setting up Amazon attribution tracking, we’re happy to assist you.
How long will it take for the first brand sponsoring campaigns to launch?
Once you’ve sent us the products for brand sponsoring, it usually takes 1–2 weeks for the first placements to launch. The exact launch date for each publisher depends largely on their editorial processes.
What are the costs associated with brand sponsoring?
Brand sponsoring is billed entirely on a performance basis at the agreed-upon commission rate for generated Amazon sales. There are no setup fees or minimum budgets.
How are Amazon sales tracked?
Sales are tracked transparently through your own Amazon attribution tracking. This allows you to keep track of your sales at all times and gives you full control over your expenses. You provide us with the attribution tracking report on the 15th of the following month, which serves as the basis for the invoice.
